Send any questions about how we handle personal data to [email protected].
Businesses we contact
We offer websites and related services to Swedish businesses, and we sometimes contact businesses that we think would benefit from them, by email, by phone or in person.
To do this, we use information that the business itself has published:
- business name, industry, address and town
- the business's phone number and email address
- website address, and rating and number of reviews on Google
- technical observations about the business's website, for example whether it is mobile-friendly or loads slowly
The information comes from the business's own website, from Google Maps and from public business registers.
We process it on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation): being able to offer a service that is relevant to the business. We address the business and people in their professional role.
You can always say no
If you do not want us to contact you again, reply "no thanks" to our email, tell us when we call, or email [email protected]. We stop immediately.
So that we do not contact you again by mistake, we keep only the email address or phone number on a block list.
Customers and people who get in touch
When you contact us, through the form on the website, by email or by phone, we use the information you provide to reply to you and, if we do business together, to perform the contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
Invoices and accounting records are kept for as long as accounting legislation requires (Article 6(1)(c)).
The website
We use PostHog to understand how the website is used, for example which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked. This helps us improve the site.
How long we keep data
- Businesses we have contacted but not done business with: deleted no later than 12 months after the most recent contact.
- The block list: for as long as it is needed so that we do not contact you again.
- Customers: for as long as the contract is in force, and after that for as long as the accounting rules require.
Who may have access
We never sell data. It is handled by providers we use for email, storage, customer records (for example HubSpot) and web analytics. Some of them may process data outside the EU/EEA; in that case it is done on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict the processing and to object to it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
If you believe we are processing your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (imy.se) in Sweden or Andmekaitse Inspektsioon (aki.ee) in Estonia.
